Two Way Prayer
God, my God,
You have my full attention! How would you have me use this abundance of time? I am in a [personal] work famine. Enough to get by, but surely not enough to run.
Help me not be like Isaac who ran. Help me stand stall, firm, confident. Give me courage to do Your will, Your work. Faith and work. Help me work, oh God! Not nurse work, but deep inner personal work.
My child,
Where you are is where I want you. This isn’t new, it’s always true. It may feel new because this time you agree with Me.
Like I told you through your friend A., “it’s easier to be disciplined when choice is removed.”
This is no coincidence. My divine timing is always afoot, always at play. Now, however, you see it. You notice it. You are noticing Me!
2 Timothy 1:7 AMP. Pray this prayer over yourself at the start of each new day:
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].
Self control. One of the fruits of the spirit– love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control.
My dear child, you are in a season, once again, of mastering self control. “Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” (James 1:4 NIV)
You have every single thing you need, but you are still lacking. Mature. Grow. Develop. Shine.
Let me finish My work in you. You are almost ready. Do not grow weary, my dear child. Your time is just now.
When I listen, God speaks directly to my innermost being. And when I obey, God moves exceedingly and abundantly in my favor. This is the mighty, powerful, dynamic, cosmic, metaphysical, divine and Godly law that is prayer. And so it is. Amen!
