God is love — and God created us in love, by love, for love. Compare me to love and love alone! Love doesn’t compete or compare, she simply EXISTS.
Love, thank You that as I am is precisely enough because I am who You– the God of I AM THAT I AM!– made us to be. Help us remember our enoughness when the world would deceive us or have us forget.
In the dark, I hear her.
In the dark, she knows the parts of me I’ve hidden from myself.
In the dark, I begin to know myself more, too.
I took much needed time to think and feel in my body (that God speaking to me feeling, the spiritual nudges, you know the one, yes?) and pray and meditate on my next career steps.
Because here’s the real victory: not that I’ve kept the weight off. The real success is that I got aligned in spirit, in mind, and in body.
With God, all things are possible. With God, I now know that all things includes the very thing that I not only thought but downright knew was impossible.
I want to touch abundance like I would touch the hem of Jesus’ garment. Just a touch. That’s it. That’s all.
Remember the One and you will always have more than you need. Remember the One and your needs will continue to be met.
However you define silence or stillness for yourself, I hope you come to know it, understand it, and above all, practice being it: Stop fighting. Calm down. Be quiet. Be calm. See. Understand. Desist.
